I have lowered these to a stone cold bargain! This is my rock bottom price. These are for sale locally in Knoxville, Tennessee. These are offered for local pick up only- no shipping. These are truly high-end audiophile quality speakers. The Aerial Acoustics Model 7B were made in the late 90s. They were made in the USA and the genuine Rosewood veneer edition retailed for $5,000 back then. Everything about these is very high-end from the drivers to the cross-overs and especially the cabinets. The cabinets were handbuilt by American craftsman and are designed to be acoustically inert without any resonance with 2 thick walls! Because of this, they weigh nearly 100 pounds each. The drivers are all perfect and there are no dinged corners etc. There is a surface scratch on the back of one of them. This happened when I was moving to a new home one time when I was sliding the speaker out of the back of the SUV and someting was beneath the speaker. The scratch looks worse than it is and is only in the clear coat surface. I am sure it would probably buff out nicely. I never bothered because you never see the scratch since its in the back. Other than that scratch, these are in excellent condition and sound absolutely amazing with the right equipment. I used these with a Krell amp and preamp at one time and it was the best sound I have been able to achieve in my home. I am down sizing and simplifying these days so they are for sale.
