What I like most about this preamp is that you can use it as a dedicated headphone amp with a main amp. Yet as a preamp for one of your Adcom amplifiers it is just as good. Technicians arebig fans of the sound you get from Adcom preamps for the price. Tested FM and AM - both work. FM< picks up stations and locks in on stereo. Phono also sounds good. Some marks and or scratches yet presents well. The only issue I could find was that I felt like the radio reception was weak. I only used a small antenna on the 750 jack, because that is all I had to test. Reduced price accordingly. I Tested using a CD player and a Sony Amplifier playing on a 24 hour loop. Sounded great and crisp. I have a couple of these and thats why Im turning this one loose.
