Adcom GTP 400 Preamp works fine. Tuner receives fine but has an issue with the tuner up/down switch. Up works fine, down doesn’t. When you get it, all the FM presets will be cleared. Once you set the preset, that will be held unless the preamp is unplugged for at least a week, so you need to be REALLY careful when you program the presets. Otherwise, the unit works just fine. I was unable to find a replacement switch assembly. I was using it with a Hafler DH-120 and it sounded great as the workshop audio, but that system has been replaced with another setup so this one is superfluous to my needs.As stated, it works fine within the limitations described, but due to the tuner switch issue, it is sold as-is, for parts or repair.

No noise in volume, balance, bass, or treble knobs. I am getting some minor ground loop hum--not sure why. Only audible when not playing music. Did not test the tape loop inputs/outputs or the phono section. FM and AM tuner works great. Owners manual included. Classic analog hi-fi! Adcom GTP-502 does not power on. It did at the estate sale but it has lost power during the time it took me to list it. Adcom GTP-400 powers on but I have not tested it. It probably has issues as well. They have signs of wear as well on the bodies. Sold as is, for parts / repair.
