Very rare and harder and harder to find, this Adcom Stereo GFA 565 Mono Block Amplifier set, 300 watts per channel into 8ohms, comes complete with Hoppe’s Brain driver board and capacitor upgrade and overhaul, correcting the eventual leaky capacitor problem. The amps come in original factory boxes, with instructions manual. Cosmetically rated 8 or 9 depending on how picky you are, very minor wear and working condition rated 10. Runs quietly and perfectly and presently easily driving a $20,000 pair of Carver Amazing Line Source Speakers. You are bidding on a PAIR of pre-owned Adcom GFA-565 mono-block power amplifiers. The sonic performance of these amplifiers is well-documented. Cosmetic condition of both units is good and reflects normal home use. Small tear in exterior power cord (outside casing - picture provided) but no exposed interior wires. Electrical tape was removed for photo. Both units were professionally serviced in 2018 to correct common leaking capacitor issues found in this model (receipt/verification of service to be provided with purchase). Both units were used in my home audio system for many years and sound great. Units will be shipped separately and securely to domestic U.S. buyers only. Free local pickup (if southeastern Virginia).
