This has been my main amplifier for a couple years, I use it to drive a pair of ZU dirty weekends, they are 12ohm speakers so this amp was never driven. I also opened it and cleaned it and used Deoxit. This ones does have the Adcom fart after turning off. I have read they did this even from new, and I have never had and issue. I have spoke with many other Adcom owners and they say the same. There is a lot of info online them taking about it the caps releasing energy. I have measured this with a meter turning off and there nothing that would damage a speaker. Because of this I am selling as is, and for parts. This of course is an ADCOM amp, with a massive triortal transformer, it is either US or Japanese made, I cant remember at the moment. If you wanted to get an amp of this quality today, youd be looking at starting in the $1,200 dollar range, this amp is built like a tank, but anyone who knows ADCOM, already knows that.

Clean Audio output ran for hours at 1/2 volume tested, Audio is not distorted or scratchy. Clean decent sound and not pushed to distortion light limits. Never serviced and may eventually need recaped as all vintage amps eventually will need capacitors replaced. Normal nicks and marks from age, top shows most marks. Sold as is electronic item working good when shipped, padded and insured.
