Im selling it because I just got some new speakers for my home theater rig, and the 150 w/ch of the GFA 545ii isnt quite enough to wake up the bottom end. The quality is definitely there (in spades), I just need a little more quantity in watts, like at least 300w/ch.

Adcom GFA 545 100 WPC Amplifier Into 8 Ohms And 2 Channels. This is a great sounding amp and a good way to enjoy your music without breaking the bank. Audio wise it sounds great. Cosmetically, like most amps, you’ll find some light scratches on the top. You should be able to see them in the pictures. I’ve used this as a second system with an Adcom GTP 500 pre-amp and they sound great together. Of course, you can use whatever pre-amp you want. This will play almost any speaker you might have to darn loud levels, and still sound good.

Listed is an Adcom GFA-545 Amplifier in excellent working condition. Replaced the differential pair of transistors on each channel to further reduce DC offset. Also, replaced a 4.7uF capactor on each channel as smaller older caps tend to dry out faster. Everything else is original. Idle current reset back to specs as documented in the service manual.. Good Cosmetic Condition. Excellent working, sounding, and workhorse amplifier. See Pics. I am thinning out my collection, hence decided to sell this unit, as I am more into more vintage units.
