Adcom GFA-545 These amps with age can drift, bias can be low or high.. low bias and you have distortion. High bias and your amp can destroy itself from heat.. This amp has electrolytic capacitors replaced. I replaced the bias trimmer resistors with new better sealed units. Bias was set to factory spec. DC offset was verified to be below 100mV. (72mV left, 50mV right) This is now ready for many more years of service! Needs nothing and no guesses of what condition the amp you buy off Ebay is.

Very clean Adcom GFA 545ii power amp 100w/ch@8 ohms 150w/ch@4 ohms. Note that this is the upgraded, series ii with greater detail in low bass, flawless deep to mid-bass transition. Mids and highs only suffer a tiny bit in comparison to the best $2000 and up designs. Im selling it because I just got some new speakers for my home theater rig, and the 150 w/ch of the GFA 545ii isnt quite enough to wake up the bottom end. The quality is definitely there (in spades), I just need a little more quantity in watts, like at least 300w/ch.

Adcom Gfa 545 II Amplifier High Current Stereo Amp This is a vintage Adcom amp in good condition. I have tested this and it really rocks please check out the video link below. ships from a clean, pet/smoke free environment. Item condition: I do my best to be transparent about each items condition. Condition guide Like new- Shows no signs of wear. Worn very little, if at all. Excellent- Items that have minimal wear. Worn only a few times. Very good- Items show signs of wear. Hard to see light surface scratches and possibly a very small cosmetic flaw. Good- Items that have been worn regularly and have reasonable noticeable wear. Scratches and dents are minor. Fair- Items show signs of major wear but are functional and can be used. For parts or restoration- These items are sold as is and will need some sort of repair, cleaning or I am unsure how to test them.
