This unit is made by DBX who also owned ADC and BSR companies at the time this unit was produced. This is the same unit as the DBX 120 Subharmonic Synthesizer.Controls include push buttons for Power(on/off) and Operate/Bypass. Linear controls for Sub-Sonic Level and Low Frequency Boost. Rear panel has Left and Right In and Out and Left and Right Optional Out with push button for Low Frequency Amp(on/off). This unit can be used as a two way crossover by using the Low Frequency output and attaching it to a subwoofer.Brushed aluminum metal faceplate with black accents and black metal enclosure. Red LEDs for Power and 28, 34, 40 and 50Hz. Used to boost bass tones in your sound source. Can also be used to direct bass tones to a powered sub-woofer in a vintage system where sub-woofers were never even thought of.
