Up for sale is this used 1970’s ADC (Audio Dynamics Corp.) Accutrac+6 3500/1-RVC belt drive turntable, complete with the aluminum “globe” remote receiver (Model R.X.I.) and the handheld push button remote control unit (powered by a single 9 volt battery, and the battery compartment is clean). This was made in Great Britain. This unit has not been fully tested and appears to be “partially working” and is being sold “as is” or for parts. While in storage it appears to have been exposed to some heat that partially melted/distorted the tonearm black thin plastic base. Please see the pictures. That appears to prevent the tonearm from freely moving to the platter. It will move manually by hand with some stiffness. The unique center spindle “rising” feature appears to work when activated. We have a video of that working but doesnt seem to be compatible with eBays system. We are still trying to add that. This allows a stack of records to be on the spindle but then you can program which songs you want to hear from each record and in what order. The platter appears to spin as it should. The tonearm still has the original ADC head-shell, ADC cartridge, and ADC LMA-3 stylus. The dustcover is in generally nice condition but has surface scratches. The dustcover hinges in the rear work fine. This is a very unique offering in the turntable world, but this one will need some refurbishing, and a few parts, to get it fully working as intended. Again, it has not been tested any more than what is shown in the video and the tonearm does not move under its own power due in part to the warped turntable base.
