ACUTEX LPM 315 PHONO CARTRIDGE With Mounting Screws and Cartridge Case Here is a very rare Acutex LPM 315 cartridge that is in excellent condition. The cartridge stylus is sharp and clean. I could not find a single scratch on the cartridge! The cartridge has roughly 30 hours of play time, so this baby still has plenty of life left The 315 is a warm & mellow sounding cartridge – very dynamic – separation is most excellent - nice tight natural sounding bass [not boomy at all] – Highs are very crisp yet never sounding metallic or artificial. The sound stage is really where this cartridge shines. While listening with one’s eyes closed, you actually hear not only stereo but a distinct three dimensional sound stage where the musicians and singers are positioned as in a concert. The sound quality of this cartridge is absolutely fantastic! Also comes with mounting screws, cartridge case, original stylus guard protector, and Genuine Acutex 315 stylus/needle. DESCRIPTION: Acutex LPM 315 cartridges match most tonearms perfectly and is another of Acutex’s series featuring the moving coil system. This is for an Acutex LPM cartridge in good condition with a badly damaged 310 stylus. The cartridge has been tested and works fine. Continuity in both L and R channels has been tested and is virtually identical, 531 and 533 ohms. The cartridge even with the mangled stylus has been tested for sound and both channels work. I will guarantee that. I will not accept returns because the stylus is bad. PLease note Acutex made two types of cartridges with this numbering system. This cartridge will NOT take 310 M style stylus (310II etc.). It will ONLY accept the LPM stylus line. Notice the shape of the stylus shell. The M style is totally different. Japanese made Acutex cartridges were very fine products. Even though this stylus cantilever is badly damaged, because the orange stylus shell is present one could either find an LPM stylus (the Acutex 312 LPM stylus is a fine upgrade from the 310 and would fit this cartridge well) or send the LPM 310 shell for a cantilever and tip replacement to technicians who perform such services. Returns will be accepted only if the cartidge itself is defective. I have tested it and know it to be in fine condition. Buyer pays any return shipping costs unless cartridge is defective.
