Acurus P10 Phono Pre-Amp. Jumpers inside the unit can set this phono pre-amp to low, medium or high gain, and provides five cartridge loading choices (see photos). Tested, using a Sumiko Starling cartridge. This cartridge requires the high-gain setting, and 100-ohm loading. The result was great sound, and a quiet background. I have since returned the settings to medium gain and 47K ohm loading (proper for most moving-magnet cartridges. Cosmetics are excellent, with no scratches.

Acurus amps and preamps are known for fine performance and durability This amp has a stout toroidal transformer. It works perfectly and is very clean in appearance, too. Its the 2nd generation of the A100. I am downsizing and selling most of my audio gear. Ive priced this reasonably, I think. Specs: 100wpc into 8 0hms; 150 wpc into 4 ohms @no more than .06% THD S/N ratio - -110dB.

Acurus P10 Phono Pre-Amp. Jumpers inside the unit can set this phono pre-amp to low, medium or high gain, and provides five cartridge loading choices (see photos). Tested, using a Sumiko Starling cartridge. This cartridge requires the high-gain setting, and 100-ohm loading. The result was great sound, and a quiet background. I have since returned the settings to medium gain and 47K ohm loading (proper for most moving-magnet cartridges. Cosmetics are good, with a few scratches on the chassis top plate, and the edges of the faceplate, consistent with age. The largest scratches are on the front corners of the top plate, behind the faceplate. These marks are about 3/8, and are shown in the last photo.
