This is for the full set of 5 two part swivel speakers that came with the system. Great condition speakers. Also including the two wall brackets that can be used to mount the rear or front set. Bose Acoustimass 600 Series I (original) Speaker System 5 Single Cubes All Cables 5.1 Tested, previously Factory Restored Details: 5 single redline cubes and factory renewed woofer unit have ALL RCA female inputs jacks on this, the Original Series I. Your own 5 channel amp is needed, Series I has no on-board amplification. All full length Bose OEM cables are included. Unlike with Series II and higher the cubes do NOT have bare wire input clips, they have color coded angle plug RCA plugs. The 2 cubes with horizonal alignment tabs are for front right and left and the other 3 with vertical tabs are for center and rear surround. Working perfectly with minor wear on cube cabinets, cube black cloth grills very good with no snags or holes.Comes with Bose 20 foot and 50 foot coded black cube ribbon cables and 20 foot woofer to amplifier cable with bare wire ends on amp side. These speakers need an external up to 5 channel amplifier with 10W to 100W RMS per channel at 4 to 8 ohms. All parts fully tested, in very good condition. Sound is excellent and visually only minor wear on cube cabinets. Redline single cube black cloth grills very good with no snags or holes and all original logos. Complete ready to play 5.1 speaker system has no separate subwoofer input, bass is extracted from the main speaker inputs. Tested, cleaned and in very good condition with minor wear, no odors or smoke.We tested with movies, CDs and streaming music, the sound is excellent with accurate highs and convincing bass. The subwoofer gets its bass from the speaker inputs and does not have a separate volume control. The lowest frequency sounds are handled by the subwoofer and not passed through, this reduces stress on the cubes.Note: It is very important to connect the receiver output speaker wires correctly. Red marked wire to red amp terminals and plain wire to black amp terminals. Bass response will be greatly reduced if the speakers are connected out of phase to the amp. Note 2: The RCA cable plugs have 2 black plugs for front right and left speakers and 3 gray plugs for center and rear channels. Die Kombination von Bose und Teufel ist unschlagbar! es lassen sich viele positive Artikel bzw. Tests zu beiden Komponenten finden. Wir haben die Erfahrung gemacht, das der eine die Schwächen vom anderen ausbügelt. Wir hatten etliche Jahre zwei solche Kombinationen im Gebrauch. Selbst mit einem neuem, aktuellen Verstärker ist der Klang immer noch besser, als die mitgelieferte Komponente. Wir haben eine Anlage abgebaut...., fanden wir mit fortschreitendem Alter doch überflüssig, zumal wir im Arbeitszimmer sogar noch eine dritte Anlage hatten/haben. Im Wohnzimmer haben wir dieselbe Kombination in weiß stehen und im täglichen mehrstündigem Gebrauch. Unser Wohnzimmer hat 30 qm und wir drehen die Anlage selten höher als 1/4 der möglichen Leistung. Der Sound ist aber so raumfüllend, das sicher auch größere Räume gut beschallt werden. Leistung und technisch völlig in Ordnung, funktionieren wie gewünscht. Auf der Oberseite des Subwoofers sind Flecken (siehe Fotos), die aber wahrscheinlich leicht zu entfernen sind - der Subwoofer stand unter einem Tisch.... im Arbeitszimmer, in dem die Boxen standen und hingen, wurde wenig, aber doch, geraucht. Nun standen die länger im Keller und haben nach Aussage von Nichtrauchern wieder einen neutralen Geruch. All inputs, outputs, speakers and subwoofer have been tested and are working. The right output cable only includes a short cable with one RCA connector and will need to be replaced. They all show wear, tear and discoloration. The cables show bite marks, are dirty and are of varying lengths with taped joints. One of the speaker covers does not stay on. Use the pictures provided to judge their cosmetic condition. If you have any requests or questions, ask before purchasing. Includes 5 articulating jewel cube speakers, acoustimass module, all original cables, and original owners manual. System has been well cared for and sounds great. The bose acoustimass system is a passive system. You will need a receiver or amplifier to power system.
