Der semiprofessionelle Plattenspieler Acoustical 3100 mit zwei Geschwindigkeiten verfügt über einen direkten Riemenantrieb. Dadurch sind die Rumpelzahlen sehr günstig. Die Jobo-Version dieses Geräts verfügt über drei Geschwindigkeiten und wird standardmäßig unter anderem mit dem ?All-Balance?-Arm geliefert. Der All-Balance-Arm ist ein Mittelklasse-Arm, der Akustikantrieb selbst und der Shure-Arm gehören jedoch zur Spitzenklasse. Das Gerät ist mit einem eingebauten Stroboskop mit Neonlampe, einem Armlift und einem Ein-/Ausschalter ausgestattet. Der Nadeldruck kann eingestellt werden, indem eine Spannfeder mit Klemmring über den Arm geschoben wird.
