This is a pair of the highly regarded Acoustic Zen MATRIX REFERENCE II XLR interconnects. They are in good condition with minimal signs of use. They have not been switched about often, and have been in my system off and on for 13 years, fabricated in 2010. They come in their original Acoustic Zen carrying case. Please see the photos for condition. The terminal downstream ends show a small patch of wear on the anodizing where the sleeves plug into the inputs of a component. I tried my best to capture this in the photos with a pencil pointing to it. Otherwise there is little wear to these interconnects. NOTICE: Like most high end interconnects, these are stiff interconnects, so make sure you have sufficient space behind your components to make the needed bends and realize that your components will have to be relatively near to each other for a 1 meter interconnect to make the span. Ive been pleased with the refined detail that these interconnects provide. Im now retired and like many males my age, my hearing is somewhat impaired; consequently, after a lifetime of being a dedicated audiophile, I am now transitioning from critical listening to wireless music streaming. Its all good in its own way. These interconnects will be carefully boxed up with protection, and will be shipped USPS Priority Mail. Returns are accepted within 30 days, but the interconnects are expected to be returned in the condition sent, and packaged as received. That said, I believe you will be pleased with their performance.

This is a pair of the highly regarded Acoustic Zen MATRIX REFERENCE II interconnects with RCA termination. They have been in my system off and on for 13 years, fabricated in 2010. They come in their original Acoustic Zen carrying case. Please see the photos for condition. The braided nylon outer jackets show some light fraying but this does not compromise the interconnects nor are the outer jackets compromised in any way. I tried my best to capture this in close up photos of the outer jackets. The terminal ends are in mint condition. Ive priced this pair accordingly. Currently the Matrix Reference II are going for $920 a meter pair. IMPORTANT! Like most high end interconnects, these are relatively stiff interconnects, so make sure you have sufficient space behind your components to make the needed bends and realize that your components will have to be relatively near to each other for a 1 meter interconnect to make the span. EVEN MORE IMPORTANT!! These interconnects have locking ends. The outer barrel is designed to be tightened down to hold the interconnect onto the components input or output sockets. This prevents the loosening of the RCA termination which can compromise the RCA/component interface. If overtightened they are exceedingly difficult to loosen. When hooking up the interconnect, LIGHTLY, and I mean lightly, tighten the outer barrel while gently trying to remove the interconnect. As soon as the interconnect feels secure, stop! This is sufficient tightening. When you go to remove the interconnect, if you cant remember which way to twist the barrel, think of the interconnect as a bottle of ketchup and the barrel as the cap. Turn it in the direction you would use to remove the bottle cap if holding the bottle with it pointing away from you. Ive been pleased with the refined detail that these interconnects provide.
