Here is an integrated amplifier by Acoustic Solutions, the SP-101 I came by this in a bundle of used and thought id get round to checking it out one day, and im glad that day came this week. I have been pleasantly surprised by this amp, its uncomplicated appearance and no fuss approach had me underestimating it from the off, but in fact it has somewhat surprised me. Acoustic Solutions are not an audiophile brand, they are not hugely expensive, but what i do now realise is that they represent great value for money. I have opened this up and gone through it to check it over, and immediately impressed by the toroidal power supply, usually found in far higher spec amplifiers. Also pleasantly surprised at the lack of any repairs required, this checks out just fine, so a little tidy up inside and the lid is back on for audio testing. Again, more pleasant surprises, the simple appearance still hides the fact that this performs very nicely, sounds great to be honest, and so long as youre not try to dj in the albert hall, shes got plenty of guts to drive just about any size or type of speaker you wish to throw at it. Cosmetically in good shape, but there are a few marks here and there, not perfect, but ill reflect this in the price, at the end of the day if you want a nice sounding amp for a simple system somewhere, this will work out just fine. This can be fully demonstrated if collected from me in Nottingham (O7875749472) to arrange, alternatively i can package and dispatch for the quoted amount.
