A working pair of AR MGC-1 floorstanding loudspeakers in walnut with acoustic control amplifier. These are very much a wow thing. I have hooked these up and have listened for a while, they are good, very good given the price point. Multiple drivers set up to provide both direct and reflective sounds, and does create a huge soundstage. Rather than try to sell you on the speakers myself, go read reviews like the one written in Stereophile. Ken Kantor himself published an explanation or two go read those. In other words, as a buyer, do your homework. You will be happier in the long run.The amplifier while working needs some pots cleaned and probably an internal component or two replaced, I will be having that looked at starting tomorrow by a good tech. I will consider interesting audio items in lieu of $, just ask, and I will ship via freight, but local within 100 miles of greater Nashville pickup is much preferred.
