Removed from a working AR-4X this tweeter is in very good shape. Surround is nice and soft, there are no cracks or tears. The dust cap is not pushed in. There is some rust - can be seen in the images. Speaker cabinets were in bad shape but still played great as can be seen in the video. In the video this would be the tweeter on the left speaker - there is a paper with a “L” on it, this is so I keep them straight. There is no part info on it but one of the woofers had 1973 on it. Vintage Acoustic Research AR-4XA from Motown Office 1975.Much loved speakers that were in my office at Motown in 1975 then used at home but after a house move in 2005 they have been unused and in storage. Some very minor wear and tear on the back corner of one speaker cabinet but they look in excellent condition and were always great speakers.
