No one will go wrong buying these speakers at the ridiculosly low prices they are available on the net. They are well made at 27 lbs.each.The slim profile is pleasing to the eye and unobtrusivelooking in a room. Whatta deal!!

Acoustic research ARAU amplifier. This unit is apparently completely original and appears to have never been serviced. As the photographs will show, this unit has been lovingly taken care of with almost no physical imperfections noted whatsoever. I ran it for over three hours, and the heat sinks never got warm to the touch. All that being said, this unit is over 50 years old and should be recapped appropriately. With the appropriate electrolytic capacitors replaced, this should last a very long time. If you are looking at this listing, you know what this amplifier is. Due to the age of this unit and the unrestored fully original nature of it, it is being sold as is as described. I make no warranty whatsoever as to the longevity of its operation in the condition that it sits, although it sounds very good to me at this point. Please consider that this is a candidate for a full restoration, and not something to be used long-term in its all original condition.

Fairly rare Acoustic Research (AR) C-06 Stereo Preamp Tested working, all inputs & functions. I havent performed any work on this unit (e.g. recapping, cleaning controls, etc.) but it seems to work and sound quite nice. Cosmetic condition is pretty good, little dusty and minor scuffs but nothing broken or seriously deformed, see photos.
