Here we have my black AE100 Mk2 bookshelf speakers, complete with Atacama Nexxus 600 stands. Both speakers and stands are in excellent condition, being less than three months old (purchased from Audio Affair in Birmingham on 12 April). The speakers are finished in a satin black vinyl. They sound great for the money and have had good reviews from the experts. The reason I am selling is due to a house move. Technical details: Power handling up to 120 watts RMS; Impedance 6 Ohms; Sensitivity 87dB. Dimensions: 290mm high x 165mm wide x 250mm deep. Weight: 4.5kg each. Acoustic energy took their acclaimed 100 series speakers and made them better than ever featuring bespoke technologies and stylish design. The 25mm Wide Dispersion Tweeter improves diffusion of sound waves to bathe your room in sound whilst the 130mm mid-bass drive unit features an ultra-high force long-throw motor system delivering punchy bass and full-bodied low-end. Ideal as freestanding bookshelf speakers or mounted on stands, the AE100 MK2’s look as good as they sound with a vinyl veneer finish that will blend into any environment. Those of you with eagle-eyes may have spotted what looks like a couple of marks on the sidewall of the cabinets - they are just finger marks which the black vinyl finish shows up really well and can be easily wiped off with a damp cloth. Although I have the original box and packing for the speakers, I do not have any packaging for the heavy stands so have opted for Buyer collects rather than using a courier. Acoustic Energy AE1 Mk2 In lovely polished wood. Both tweeters are unblemished with there magnetic covers unmarked. I have had these speaker running bi wired and unfortunately the original jumpers are missing. They sound fine with the copper wire. There are a few marks to the base but overall they are a fantastic looking pair of speakers that polish up well. Grills are unmarked. Great midrange and surprising amount of bass for a speaker this size. 7.5 Kg each If you have any questions please ask. I have other Hi Fi items listed and I am always open to sensible offers.
