Acoustic Research AR38. Good working . Minor scuffs but generally pretty good. Think one of the tweeters sounds slightly less bright than the other . Probably expected after many years , apparently not original bass driver . I’m not an expert but someone told me who tried to buy them . Many thanks . Early woofer. Professionally Rebuilt ( not by me ). Removed from cabinets with Serials 002653 or 002676 I had this professionally rebuilt and it Tests Well. I was going to restore some AR3as but I have too many projects. What you see zip tied on there is the packing protection ring. The rebuilder says they were obviously serviced before... hence the label from Fredericksburg. But that is OLD and these were just rebuilt a few weeks ago. Thats all I know about them. Im parting out the entire speakers... check my other listings. Note, Ive lately allowed winners the back out but Im not inclined to do that anymore. Dont bid unless you want it. Please.

On the dog... wife still not talking to me. So, I sent it to a professional far far away and he rebuilt it after my awful work. That is why it is UGLY BUT... Tests well. Therefore, works as it should but its not going to be pretty. Bid accordingly. The bolts you see on it are for shipping to protect the foam. This listing is for a pair of AR-2ax tweeters. They will fit AR-3 speakers as well. They are working. They sound excellent. Some minor cosmetic defects. These are dated 1968. Leads are full length. Tweeter binding posts in pictures are not included. Its just way easier to test them that way. The binding posts are included with the crossovers. Available in my other listings.
