One ultra-unobtainable original Western Electric 94 C/D amplifier said it is the most universal vintage Western Electric amplifier, along with 91A/B. Plays well with wide-range, Mirrophonic systems, but best amp to mate with WEs ingenious 7 series, ie 728B, 754A, 757A, 753 monitors, 713 drivers, 755. Only a handful (like 91s) unit most likely left on the planet, this is true also for the 94 type amplifer. Tubes used (NOT part of this auction): WE 350B, WE 348A, WE 27B. Basically, 2x 6L6, 2x 6J7, 1x 5Z4 (274B) Plug-and-Play (until now used with WE 106A program amp, driving WE 728B, KS-12027, 713B as a mono set-up). No extra holes drilled for input, output jackets, power supply connector. Very clever external design with all what you need to plug in your wires (see picks). A single WE 91A type tube amplifier made by Waiting Audio in Taiwan. This amplifier uses a 5U4G, a 310A and a 300B output tube. It worked well but recently blew its fuse and has not worked despite replacing the fuse. I have tried to contact the manufacturer but they have not responded with a request for a schematic for repair. Their ebay name is abula101f3pf and you can see these amplifiers under their items for sale. I am unable to repair it so the amplifier is sold for parts and no tubes are included. Payment is required within 5 days after the close of the auction. I will carefully pack this item and send it by USPS.
