Bryston 4Be Amplifier, Never rack mounted, Very, Very Clean, low hours... Factory shipping box. This is the super rare 4Be pro version. The e is for engineering. This model was just before the NRB.It has XLR and 1/4 TRS connections. I will include a pair of gold-plated 1/4 TRS to RCA adaptors also. The pro models have the potentiometers in the front, just above the number 4, to adjust the right and left channels independently. Brystons 4B stereo power amplifier consists of two amplifier modules, each with its own ±85v power supply, which can be operated independently or combined (MONO mode) to form a single 800 watt amplifier (8? load) in a 3 rack height chassis. Operated independently (DUAL mode) each channel can deliver 250 watts into 8? (or 400 watts into 4?). Each of the two amplifier modules use 8 of Brystons custom power transistors, for a total of 16 output devices per 4B. It has not been used for about 15 years. This amp is is really good condition. There are a few small marks pictured and the plastic end of one of binding post is slightly damaged but in no way affects operation of the post. See pic. Tested and works great! Looks a little rough around the edges but it doesn’t effect quality. Scratched up and the cord may need replacing eventually but right now it functions perfectly
