Description
For sale is a vintage Rek O Kut N-33H single speed (33 1/3) belt-drive turntable with a Denon DA-307 tonearm and a Denon DL-103 MC cartridge in good condition. Our tech has confirmed this table to be in great working order. This is a super cool turntable that has an absolutely amazing sound. The bass response, spacious sound stage, and clarity from this turntable, tone arm, and cartridge combo is very impressive. It also looks really cool. The Denon DA-307 dynamic damping S-shaped tone arm is phenomenal for tracking because of its curved construction and has a specially designed damping arm that nearly eliminates outside vibrations from reaching the needle. This Denon DL-103 low output moving coil cartridge sounds absolutely incredible when played on this table. The tone, realism, and lucidity you receive from this cartridge is simply fantastic; Even though it has been slightly used, but still has plenty of life left. The cosmetic state of this turntable may not be perfect, but it is still in great shape for its age. (All cosmetic issues have been showcased in the pictures above). Everyone who has listened to this turntable has been enamored with with the depth you get from it. This is one vintage table that is worth investing in and will help you get the best sound out of your favorite records. DENON DA-307 SPECIFICATIONS: Type: dynamically balanced, static balance type Overall length: 332mm Effective length: 244mm Overhang: 14mm Height adjustment: 42 to 70mm Stylus pressure: 0.1g sub scaled vernier type dial Cartridge weight range: 5 to 10g Headshell: 6g PCL-5 magnesium alloy diecast The DA-307 features a dynamic damping mechanism to damp peculiar vibrations of various arm parts and low frequency vibration. The root of the tonearm pipe is divided into two parts and the damper rubber of a proper viscosity and elasticity is put in between. Further, the tonearm is of such a one-point supporting type that the arm pipe is pulled by suspension wire at a tension strength adjusted properly. It is the same construction as employed at the cantilever supporting mechanism of most Denon cartridge series such as the DL-103. By use of this mechanism, the tonearm effectively damps the vibrations conducted from the arm base as described above and enormously reduces the peculiar vibrations of various components of the arm. - vinylengine.com DENON DL-103 MC SPECIFICATIONS: Type: Moving coil (MC) Output: 0.3 mV Channel Balance: 1dB Max.
