AXIS 215 PTZ Dome Camera AXIS 215 PTZ Network Camerais a Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera that provides full 360 degree panning by the use ofthe new and unique Auto-flip feature. The highly compact AXIS 215 PTZ isperfect for the indoor surveillance of shops, reception areas, schools, officesand other places that require both overview and zoom functionality. AXIS 215 PTZ also featuresautomatic day and night functionality, 12x optical zoom, 4x digital zoom andautofocusing. Simultaneous MPEG-4 and Motion JPEG video streams atresolutions up to 4CIF allow for optimized quality and bandwidth usage. Pre- and post-alarm image buffering, video motion detection, as well asscheduled and triggered event functionality with alarm notification all combineto create an effective solution for indoor monitoring. Two-way audio supportenables remote users not only to view, but also listen in on an area andcommunicate orders or requests to visitors or intruders, thereby increasing themonitoring options. AXIS 215 PTZ also supports audio alarms, making itpossible to detect the noise from intruders even in the dark. All PTZ cameras have a mechanical stop that prevents the camera from panningthe full 360° degrees and thereby breaking the cables between the camera andthe main board. This means that following e.g. a person walking behindthe camera will not be possible - you will only see them when they appear inthe cameras angle of view. The unique Auto-flip feature reverses the pandirection whenever the camera reaches the mechanical stop at 180° and does soin about in 1 second. Auto-flip means the AXIS 215 PTZ has no blind spotsand is suitable for mounting in the center of the ceiling.
