I am selling one of the best sounding and best looking Single Ended Triode tube amps that I have the pleasure owning - the Sanei (Japan) UV-845 Transformer Interstaged Coupled Single Ended Triode (SET) Tube amplifier which has been modified to run both 211 and 845 output tubes. Sanei used the same Tango Output transformer with 10K Primary impedance for the UV-845 model with 845 tube and UV-211 model with the 211 tube. All transformers are very rare and exotic Tango transformers except for the bucking transformers to convert from 120V to 100V AC. The original fixed bias version of the Sanei UV-845 amp is designed for use with the 845 tubes but with some minor modifications to the bias circuitry, the UV-845 can run both the 845 and 211 tubes at the proper biasing settings. So, I modified the bias circuitry to run either 845 tubes or 211 output tubes. I also made custom bias meter to go with this amp so biasing is a snap. I will send the proper biasing instructions for the 845 and 211 output tubes. The original Tango MS-UVD power transformer is designed for the Japan 100V AC line power and required an external step down transformer. So, I decided it is easier and better to add a proper step down transformer (bucking transformer) internally to use with the 120V USA power lines. The bucking transformers reduce 20V AC line voltage internally so the Tango Power Transformer always see 100V input thus everything is running as it is originally designed. This amplifier weights close to 100lbs and it will be packed carefully! Cosmetics condition is very good. Its not NEW and it has some minor imperfections such as scratches and so on. Zur Ersteigerung steht ein Ausgangsübertrager / Output Transformer der Firma TBT ( Trafo Bau Troisdorf ) der nach meinen Spezifikationen gewickelt worden ist. Ich habe den AÜ / OPT für Testzwecke benutzt um eine Single Ended Triode ( SET ) Endstufe mit der 211 Triode zu dimensionieren und verifizieren. Der AÜ kann aber auch für andere hochomige Röhren wie der 845 Triode, usw. benutzt werden. Der AÜ besitzt folgende Impedanzübertragungen Primär : Sekundär = 15kOhm : 6 Ohm, oder 10kOhm : 4 Ohm. Die Leistung beträgt ca. 20 Watt / 1 kHz / 6 Ohm. Der OPT ist für eine Anodenspannung vom 1000 - 1100V ausgelegt. Der AÜ basiert auf ein EI96 Kern und hat die Maß 96 x 80 x 80mm ( L x B x H ) und wie ca. 2kg. Der Neupreis lag bei ca. EUR 150,00. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist, ist der optische Zustand sehr gut und technisch funktioniert der AÜ einwandfrei.
