For sale a pair of large standmounts built according to schematics of the original Scan Speak Reference Monitor. The drivers are Scan Speak 18w8546-01 with black Kevlar cone, not available anymore, and the famous D2905/9900 Revelator tweeter. Both drivers should be considered as NOS, as they havent been used for the last 12 years. The cabinets are veneered (not sure what the correct name of the veneer is), fronts are 36mm thick, the quality crossover is fitted in a separate chamber, bass-reflex tubes are made from aluminum. Very heavy, around 15kg each. Internal wiring is from Kimber Kable. They come with the light brown man-made leather covers/sleeves to protect them from fading or a bad touch. Collection from Milton Keynes area very welcome or may deliver locally - please ask.
