Im selling a USED, TESTED, WORKING YAMAHA DSP A1000 NATURAL SOUND AMPLIFIER. This vintage Yamaha amplifier sounds great and looks good for its age. The MSRP on this amplifier when it was released in 1991 was $1499! Functionally this unit is in perfect condition with no issues at all. It does not come with a remote. Cosmetically it is in 8/10 condition with a few small scratches here and there - all imperfections are visible in the photos. Yamaha DSP-A1 Vintage Home Theatre DTS 7.2 Channel AV Amplifier - GOLD Special Edition Gold with Stunning High Gloss Piano Finish Walnut Side Panels Complete with fully functional and illuminating Remote Control, Instruction Manual and full pack of untouched macro overlay stickers! Exceptional condition. Owned from New. I was tempted to describe as mint but naturally after a few years of use the remote picks up a couple of very minor surface marks to the front flap. The unit itself however I would describe as MINT - casing, front LED display and controls all blemish free and all in full working order. Even the high gloss piano finish walnut sides are unmarked. A stunning example of this legendary amplifier and doubt there will be another in this condition. I need the space otherwise would not be selling! Fantastic sound. Owned from new and kept in dedicated room (no kids allowed!) also from a pet and smoke free home. The only minor thing to mention and with 99% of all these, they can lose a few pixels from the LED matrix display. This one as far as I can see is only 3 down, but almost unnoticeable as most words fit in between the affected pixels (see photos). This unit is heavy, as with all good AV contains a toroidal power supply not a cheaper switching one, which means it has some serious heft to it. I dont have the original box so would much rather it be collected as I would hate to see it damaged in transit. Pick up would be from WS12.
