Der Grundig Yacht Boy 400 war ein hochwertiger Weltempfänger mit AM/FM-Funktion und vielen praktischen Features. Die Uhr und Weckfunktion runden das Gesamtpaket ab und machten ihn ideal für Reisen oder den täglichen Gebrauch. Der UKW/FM-Knopf lässt sich nicht mehr aktivieren. Bei den AM-Bereichen kommt viel Rauschen. Der Empfänger war viele Jahre außer Betrieb und sucht nun jemanden der ihn zu schätzen weiß und auch wieder in Betrieb setzen kann.
