Pair of Wharfedale Airedale Floorstanding Corner Speakers. (Free Hitachi Amplifier Included.) For sale are my retro Wharfedale Airedale speakers as shown which I have owned and used for years. Classic British speakers measuring 25 wide x 38 high x 14 deep. They have the original cloth. Three drivers inside: A 15 bass unit 8 mid unit and a 3 treble also the treble and mid units are adjustable with 2 small knobs situated at the rear.The omnidirectional 8 mid range and 3 cone tweeter point upward and can be adjusted by the knobs on the back that crackle a little. I think bypassing then would improve the sound. IMPORTANT: One of the tweeters does not seem to be working or needs new wiring. Potentiometers should be replaced. They have scratches and knocks commensurate with age but would clean up nicely and still sound great. Collection only, in Whitechapel London.
