My understanding is that Snell used spec-built drivers from both Vifa and Peerless. There is no marking on this driver to indicate which, and the label on the back is no longer readable. Heres a pair of the very Popular Peerless by Tymphany TC9FD18-08 Full Range Drivers. These speakers are very popular among the speaker building community. You can check out the reviews on these speakers at Partsexpress. They received 5 out of 5 stars. These full range drivers sell for $23 Each (1 speaker). Im selling two for almost the price of one. These are 3-1/2 full ranges speakers that has a response from 100-20,000Hz and are 8 ohms. These speakers will sound best in large sealed enclosures. The enclosure size should be from 0.15 to 0.30 cubic feet. Please note, there is a small dent on one of the drives dust cap. One driver is new and the other one is slightly used (used for testing only). the used driver has a small dent on the dust cap, but it does not effect the sound quality.
