This tester uses regulated power sources for the bias, plate, & screen voltages, as well as modified operating & testing procedures. Filament voltage is also controlled. A word about the color of the unit: you may notice the color varies slightly from photo to photo- the true color of the unit is difficult to capture on camera due to red tones within. The color is mahogany- it appears slightly lighter than it actually is in the photos, though some of the darker shades captured are close. Tape Deck Onkyo TA 2060 not used in 20 years probably needs transport repair. The deck is in excellent condition and was well taken care of.I am the original owner and it worked before I just let it sit. Now, the transport mechanism seems to have an issue. Not sure what exactly is going on since I only did a simple test. A tape played and put out a good signal, but the take up reel was not doing its job. Ask questions.....I am the original owner and it is a fine deck just needs a little TLC..includes the original box.
