It has a simple switch to select 16, 33, and 45 RPM, along with fine speed adjustment using a built-in strobe light. The best part about this turntable is that its fully suspended. This means it has a floating the platter and tonearm base to reduce the ill effects of any vibration. It’s a really solidly built unit which is reflected in its weight. The plain base means you can fit you own choice of tone arm. The speed is stable, but I can’t quite get it in range. I have tried to video this, but the strobe conflicts with the camera. It may simply be that it needs the weight of the tonearm, cartridge and record itself to add a little drag, but without an arm I can’t test this.
