For sale:- 2 pieces of identical Telefunken SP238 speakers 260mm / 10.5 these speakers are from year 1939 TELEFUNKEN. Sold in the condition as is in the photos. Looks like good condition.Will need dust cleaning and possibly replacement of glue between the paper cone and the metal body of the speaker.The speakers are in original condition and have not been serviced.Not tested. Sale of speakers without transformers is possible - price 700.Selling speakers only, without transformers and all other parts in the photo. For sale:- 2 pieces of identical Telefunken SP220 speakers 200mm / 8 these speakers are from year 1939 TELEFUNKEN radio. Both speakers are tested and play very well. For sale are speakers after carefull maintenance. What was done?1) dismantling of the paper cone2) removal of the old felt band3) removing old dry glue.Before cleaning the speaker of dust and old glue, the speaker sounded dry, flat and not interesting.4) I applied a special, xxxxxx solution to important places for the paper cone to work well. I do not list all the places I paid attention to, this is my skill, acquired with years of work and practice. I guarantee you the original condition of the voice coil, field coil and spider. The felt is glued new. Like you vintage speaker lovers I have always loved the completely original condition, but many years have passed and my experience with old Telefunken speakers has told me - you have no idea how much better an old speaker sounds after service .I am now removing and well glued felt from the paper cone because the glue between the felt and paper cone is very old and it is noisy! You are used to buy original Telefunken speakers without service and they work fine, but you dont know how well they play after service! Now they surprise me the most, I have never had so much fun listening to music from Telefunken speakers after service. It is very hard to choose similar sounding pairs and my work is not over, I keep updating new and new Telefunken speakers to form similar closely matched pairs.
