Amplifier will start humming when switched on but there is no output on any of the main or remote channels. All of the selector switches are there and appear to be original. Lights for input, recording and phono selectors work. Power indicator light does not work. Cover for the power switch is cracked but switch still functions as it should. Could be an easy fix for someone or used for parts. Please review all pictures for condition (very good except for the cracked cover of power switch). Super Fidelity and Gobs of Power! This Technics amp is from the golden era of Technics. The amp was serviced by a pro shop some weeks back at a cost of $300.00. The SU-V8 has tons of power and is rated at 105 Watts per channel. I bet it would even drive Maggie LRS+ or other hard to drive speakers. (Haven’t tried it, but…) It drives my Anthony Gallos to deafening levels with ease. It has MM and MC phono preamp input options for your turntable. The tape inputs work well for streaming. If this was my only amp I’d be totally happy. As it is, I need to move it. Too many amps for wedded bliss. BTW it’s quite heavy as a good amp should be, so I’d much rather have local pickup but will pack and ship as well as possible. Please note that I don’t guarantee safe delivery. Technics SV v8x;Nur wie auf den Bildern zu SehenHauptplatine : Endstufe ist in Ordnung aberDie class aa Schaltung ist defekt - das Ausgangssignal ähnelt einem Rechteck-SignalDie Treiber und die dicken bpjt sind alle in Ordnung.Die ruhestromregelung ist defekt ich habe schon mal, auf der eingesteckten Tochterplatine, zwei Transen getauscht aber ohne Erfolg. Verbaut sind 4xSa1301 & 4xSc3280 die sind alledefinitiv noch in Ordnung und original.Welche Treiber verbaut sind weiß ich nichtmehr aber original und in Ordnung. Auf der Tochterplatine ist eine Beschädigung Einer der neuen Transistoren ist leider ausgerissen, sprich die Leiterbahnen sind abgerissen. Siehe Foto.
