THE TECHNICS SL-1500 DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE IS UNTESTED BY THE SELLER. All seller can confirm is that the unit powers on. The strobe light works. When the speed control turns to 45 or 33 , the platter spins but takes a few seconds to start spinning. ALL OTHER FUNCTIONS ARE UNTESTED BY THE SELLER. SELLER HAS NO IDEA IF THE TURNTABLE PERFORMS AS DESIGNED. The TECHNICS SL-1500 DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE is being sold here as is, for parts, repair, or restoration, on a non-returnable basis. Cosmetically the TECHNICS SL-1500 DIRECT DRIVE TURNTABLE is in fair condition. Expect normal wear associated with normal use and age. Specifically the turntable contains scuffs and scratches and a small ghost tape mark that seller could not remove with soap and water. THE BOTTOM OF THE TURNTABLE IS MISSING ONE OF THE FEET. Seller spent a few minutes wiping down the turntable but it needs a detailed cleaning.
