Technics SL-P555 CD Player - Serviced A very nice and rare to find in silver Technics CD player that is excellent sounding and well built with some some natural fading or wear and tear all age related. However the service included the laser mechanism being tested and calibrated, re-lubed and capacitors checked etc. It is built in Belgium so not a cheaply made unit. There is no remote control included but there are generic ones that are compatible often available on eBay. Postage in UK is £23, Europe is £49 and rest of the world estimated at £99 GBP. Correct invoice will be sent and no returns but please see my feedback as I test everything again before packing and posting.

This CD player is used in good condition and working order. It has a few age related marks - in particular a small dent as shown in the last 2 photos. Never had the speakers to test. Turns on and reads CDs perfectly fine, as seen in the photos. It comes with a power cable, but unfortunately no remote control. Technics - Compact Disc Player SL - P 555 In der Fachzeitschrift HiFi / Vision vom Mai 1989 wurde das Gerät bzw. der Typ in die Absolute Spitzenklasse , 1. Platz , Testsieger , eingereiht. Das soll schon etwas heißen ! Das Gerät befindet sich ausnahmslos in einem guten Gesamtzustand. Spielt einwandfrei, auch ihre selbsterstellten Musik CDs ab. Der Spieler besticht durch seine außergewöhnliche Haptik, mit der extra dicken Bodenplatte und den schönen großen Dämpferfüßen. Es handelt sich bei diesem Typ um das sog. Nachfolgemodell vom Ur SL - P550. Dieser hier vorgestellte 555er unterscheidet sich zum Vorgäger durch die etwas dunklere Powertaste sowie das sog. Scroll - Rad. Das ist für den Schnellsuchlauf Vor - bzw. Zurück sehr gut gedacht. Alle CDs die ich benutzt habe, wurden sehr schnell eingelesen, Titelsprünge sind durch den Linearantrieb des Laser - PickUp Systems schnell gemacht. Einfach Klasse ! Das hier vorgestellte und zur Auktion freigegebene Gerät trägt die Ser.Nr. FX 9626 G230 und hat folgende Anschlüsse bzw. Ausgänge. Analog - Line Out ( L+R ) sowie optischen Digitalausgang. Der Netzanschluß erfolgt über das beigelegte Kabel. An der metallenen Frontplatte gibt es einen Kopfhöreranschluss ( Regelbar ). Je m’en suis très peu servi car intégré dans ma collection qui comprend de nombreux lecteurs CD Technics et autres pièces majeures de différentes générations. Aujourd’hui ayant d’autres projets, je me sépare progressivement de mes éléments. Le lecteur est vendu sa télécommande parfaitement fonctionnelle et parfait état ainsi que le cordon secteur.
