It works pretty well, and I used it for a while like this, but it does have a bit of a rub/scrape which can be heard when the woofer is pressed in and also I could hear it at the ending of songs (when the song faded) but not during the song BUT thats not to say the noise wasnt there so it can be used as is BUT would be best to be repaired before use.
