Dont be fooled into buying an ML-1 or other high end component that requires Lemo cable unless you already have them or have them ready to order. When it was introduced in 1977 it was considered to be the best solid state pre-amp available on the market. Until then it was thought that this sound quality was only possible with tubes. The sound is clean and precise, but at the same time musical and smooth. It clearly outperformed all competing solid-state offerings at that time. The sound quality is rivaled today only by newer and more expensive gear. The phono section is still one of the smoothest regardless of cost. You will not be disappointed with this items performance.
