This Sunfire Super Junior Powered Sub is being sold inoperative due to damaged sustained when it was dropped. This was a functional subwoofer prior to its ground impact. I pulled the plate amp and found the transformer has broken off the circuit board as shown in the pics. There could be other damage as well. I tested the driver and it works fine. Passive radiator moves freely and is probably good as well. This unit will need repair or it can be used for parts. Please examine the included images and use those and this description to decide if this Sunfire Jr subwoofer will work for your needs. Ships to the USA lower 48 states only. The subwoofer is in very good shape. There are no scratches on it (See pictures). The unit works however it has a constant rumble even when nothing is plugged into it. It works fine in my neighbors home but it does not in mine. I can not promise it will work perfectly in your home. Ive spoken with Sunfire technicians and they said it is not a ground loop issue. They suspect that caps might be causing the problem. I dont know what that means but it would have to be fixed by a third-party repair shop which no one in Las Vegas exists. Maybe someone who buys it knows how to fix it or has a shop nearby. The dual speakers are in excellent shape as you can see in the pictures. They are not blown, cracked, damaged or scratched (See pictures). Overall, the subwoofer works fine, except for the low rumble noise that it makes. I am selling it using the parts or not working category even though it does work, just not perfectly for me. I will not accept any returns. Amp plate that was full rebuild service by Flannery Vintage Audio . Serial starts 96 which is the years they used better circuit boards on preamps. Unit was not put back in service and is unused since work was done. Unit was load tested at time rebuild. I have included a picture of the receipt and what was done, it was completely go thru. I had this amp plate done as a back up plate with Flannery VA retirement.
