Onkyo CP-1116a - Excellent belt driven turntable. This one punches way above its weight class!! Big bonus, you are getting the lightly used Sumiko Oyster Cartridge ($80 new - great bass)!!! The cartridge is aligned and ready to plug and play out of the box. You can still check it if you like. If you have other cartridges you prefer - Bonus! you will get 2 additional headshells ($30 value) with the purchase!! Printed 16 page copy of manual included (last picture). It is in English, German, French, Spanish, Dutch, and Swiss. One of the more impressive features about this turntable is its high-tech resonance/vibration resistant composite base and feet. No feedback from bass. I know what youre thinking...a good turntable has to weigh from 20 to 30 pounds...8.4 lbs?? Its a light-weight. When I tell you this gets no feedback, I mean none!!! Now that is space age composite plastic!!! Not sure what the composite rubber feet are made of, but I have a feeling that is a big factor to the vibration resistance. Leave it to the engineering excellence of the Japanese to come up with such ingenious materials. No this is not exotic zebra wood, rosewood, maple, oak or the wood sourced for a Stradivarius, but, hey, the price point for that type of table would be in the thousands!! This is a great table! The RCA connectors are internally grounded so no ground wire. The cover hinges are metal...not cheap plastic!!! I love turntables and have owned a Thorens TD125 (w/Rega Arm), Dual 1019, Yamaha D6, Stanton ST-100 and others....believe me, I know what Im talking about. The Thorens was my favorite. You will NOT get this type of engineering and quality from a new entry level turntable at this price point, you will get Chinese junk. A new Crosley, Victrola, Ion, etc. is total garbage, laughable trash. Would not want one even for free. They make great paper weights. The included cartridges on those pieces of rubbish are awful. Believe me sound quality for this turntable is exceptional! This is an auto-return, so it is basically a manual turntable. Legendary ONKYO audiophile engineering and design!! I love this table. Sad to sell, but this is the opportunity for it to amaze a new owner. Built in Japan. Platter has been removed and placed under the turntable. Headshell also has been removed for safety and the tonearm tied down. Of course cover is bubble wrapped (along with everything else) and placed on top. This will arrive safely! DONT lose out -- BID!!
