HiFiChoice: Weighing in at 8.3g, the EVO III is the most affordable Sumiko offering to utilise an ultra-low resonance open generator design. This features a resonance-controlled mounting plate in order to offer the lowest possible mechanical impedance. My observations: Hard to put into words, but a rock album played on this cartridge seemed to have more life than others I have owned in the same price range. I see this cartridge alone sells for $300 plus used. This unit has not had a lot of use. I would consider it used like new. Comes in original box.
