SONY STR-DA2800ES Multi Chanel AV RECEIVER

When last tested a few years ago, this receiver worked as a pass through HDMI device that would send an A/V signal to the TV and pass sound through to the speakers, but none of the advanced features such as Dolby Atmos were working. A firmware update was needed, but it needed the firmware update already installed in order to connect to the internet to check for a new firmware update. Sold as-is/for parts or repair. It has been sitting in storage for a few years and the above may or may not still be accurate. Sold As-Is. All sales final.

This is for a used Sony DA2800ES Receiver. It is in good working condition. This is one of Sony’s last few best receiver before they went downhill with quality. This will come with power cord and remote control. Please note that there is one missing dust cap for the digital audio input. It still works as intended without it. I used it all the time without issue.

I found this great 7.2 receiver at an estate sale. It has been tested and everything works as it should. There are a few light scratches on the top, but the front is in great condition. I don’t have the remote, but you can find one on eBay for $13-$40. Don’t miss out on this amazing receiver
