Its a fully balanced Vacuum Tube amplifier, that features four 6FQ7/6CG7 dual-triode valves and three inputs (one XLR and two RCAs). The ultra-light polymer film (only a few microns thick) realizes unprecedented response and a high degree of resolution. Since it is driven on all sides, there is almost no partitioned vibration and there is no phase distortion, nor any imbalance in the sound quality. If you are trying to get the best out of STAX top of the line models (SR-007 or SR-009), look no further. The unit Im selling is in excellent condition. Its the modified Kimik Edition version, which gives a better performance thanks to the selected cryogenically treated 6FQ7 valves fitted with EAT tube dampers, and the accurate bias and balance adjustments (over a five day period).
