Sony WM-EX521 Walkman Personal Cassette Player. This Cassette Player comes in its original box with instruction booklets and original receipt. I think it is quite a rare colour. There are a pair of Sony headphones - I cannot be absolutely certain they came with the cassette player as new but they are Sony items.I have tested it and everything appears to work ok with one exception - the volume switch . The switch works and controls the volume but it needs a bit of a twiddle to set it at the right volume. If you turn the wheel to the left it goes louder at the very last moment near to its stop ( should go quieter that way) but turn it slightly to the right and it goes quiet and starts to increase in volume as normal from there. I have read somewhere that this is a common fault and something to do with the volume wheel contacts ? or such like ? - I am not sure on that as I am not an expert. Anyway it does not really affect the set too much as I can set the volume to where it needs to be with a bit of a tweak and if it really bothered you a headset with an in line volume control might be a good idea. The AVLS system works ok. Please do not let the volume issue put you off as it is really in excellent condition and you might not really notice it too much. The only damage is a small graze / dent in the side casing a few mm in size ( shown in the photos).It is a used item ( although does not appear to have had much use at all) and some normal evidence of use marks here and there would be expected - this set though has minimal signs of use. It will be sent Royal Mail 2nd class Signed for. UK mainland purchasers only.
