Vintage SONY TC-K44 Head Stereo Cassette Deck Player Recorder Vintage Sony TC-K44 Casstte Deck in Excellent Condition, Very Clean, & Works Great. Shipped with USPS Shipping.

Here is what could be a great cassette deck, a vintage Sony TC-K44. This is one of the models with S&F - Sendust and Ferrite head, and as such can be a great model for recording and playback audio. Sadly, whilst most of the deck functions are working, proving the motors and electronics etc to a point, there is something disconnected or dislocated in the door mechanism, which means the door doesnt close and hold properly. (It is secured for the purpose of the pictures) This has a knock on effect of jamming the play button, so maybe something has come away from the hinge or latch, and somehow got in the way of play key? Fast forward, rewind, etc all work, and the heads, roller, and electronics look in great condition. I fed a record signal into it to prove the incoming signal path at least, plus the level meters, illumination etc and that all works fine as you can see from the pictures. I simply dont have the time to spend on every deck i come across, so i have to prioritise unfortunately which i dedicate days of labour on, and sadly whilst i suspect this K44 could be a great deck, they dont fetch a fortune so is uneconomical for me to do personally. This can be fully demonstrated if collected from me in Nottingham (O7875749472) to arrange, alternatively i can package and dispatch for the quoted amount.
