Sony STR DA9000ES 7.1 Channel 1400 Watt Flagship Receiver This was Sonys top of the line receiver back in 2005, it retailed for $4500. I bought this unit at the Sony store in the Woodbury Commons, NY for $3100. It is an excellent A/V receiver but I used it in 2 channel mode with 200 watts per channel as an audio receiver. Lots of clean power. I have the original box, 2 remotes and all original paper work. This unit is hard to find with the RM-TP2 remote. Condition is a 9/10,couple super small nicks at the top face plate all functions work. Unit has given me zero probelms since I have owned it. Heavy well built ,weighs 62lbs, all metal,no plastic,super build quality. The battery in the RM-TP2 remote is dead, it uses and unusual battery that I havent replaced as I was having trouble tracking one down. I do have the part # for the battery. I can audition unit prior to purchase if you pick up locally .I upgraded to a Mcintosh Amp/preamp . If you pair this up with the Sony XA9000 CD player you can use the I-link cord.
