This is a pair of original vintage SONY Walkman dynamic portable headphones. They were sold with SONY’s Sports Walkman lineup popular in the 1990s. I believe they had pretty impressive sweat performance. I have purchased this as new as part of my collection. It had no other packaging but the plastic bag. My guess is that it was sold as part of a Sports Walkman purchase in the box but the owner ended up not using it. The cable has never been unwound, no use whatsoever can be detected upon inspection. I had tested it carefully on a digital Walkman without unwinding it. Works perfectly, no functional or cosmetic issues as you can see on the photos. If you own one of these vintage Walkmans this is a unique opportunity to get a brand new replacement headphones or a spare. The price is commensurate with the condition and the rarity of the device. I am offering it for sale as is my collection so I will not need to own a spare. Sometimes these thin cables get damaged in use and it’s pretty difficult to repair them.
