DescriptionNice working Sony Discman model D-1000 with AC power cord. Worked with batteries and AC. The unit was tested with a tape and all functions worked except reverse/rewind. If the rewind button is used the tape light blinks and the only action is to power off or to eject the tape. I suspect there is a reverse belt or drive cog that need to be repaired or replaced. The remote control works to control the unit. The unit was not tested connected to a computer as I do not have VISCA software and do not knowit it works with other software. Due to the rewind not working the unit is being sold as is for parts only with no returns on this item. By purchasing this item you acknowledge the no return policy for this item.  This deck is specifically for interfacing to computers running VISCA-compatible capture and editing software.
