Ive been working with audio for a long time, and I was very impressed with the sound of this player. I thought that the depth of the sound, the sense of dynamism, and the fact that it was so vivid yet not too noisy was something that was typical of Sony. There is no fluffy feel or ambiguity at all. Im listening with a combination of P0 and DAC64mk2 on my main system, and I feel that the sound density is comparable.
