Signet moving coil cartridge, model MK220e. This came with my pre owned Rega Planar 3 mounted to a Grace 707 arm. I dont have a MC preamp so I switched it for a Grado MM. This is a sweet sounding cartridge and is able to track the cannon shots on the Telarc 1812 recording, something that the Grado cannot do!

Audio-Technica Signet MK220E LO MC Cartridge Stylus A legendary AT classic low-output MC cartridge. Breathtaking clarity in higher registers and gentle balanced lows thanks to boron cantilever and what appears to be a Shibata stylus. Perfect for vocals and light instrumental genre. Hard to find these days, particularly in this part of the world. Came to me a couple of years back together with a turntable from an elderly collector who was winding down and selling his cherished gear. Hence have no clue about its age or hours. Played for around 50 hours whilst with me. Clean and with minimal marks allaround. Stylus tip clean and sharp from all angles. Picture with a headshell included for illustration only.
